- Complimentary New Patient Exam. The goal of our practice is to deliver the highest quality orthodontic care that is affordable for every family. Our practice accepts all new patients, and it is not necessary to have a referral from your dentist. Because we do not want any financial obstacles to stand in the way of orthodontic treatment for you or your family, we offer a free initial exam. This includes the exam, diagnostic X-rays, and digital photography. We are looking forward to meeting you at your first visit!
- Dr. Drake and Dr. Cory are Orthodontic Specialists. Dr. Drake and Dr. Cory have both completed specialty training in orthodontics and limit their practice to providing orthodontic care! Dr. Drake is also a Board Certified orthodontist, a distinction held by only 13% of the orthodontists in the United States. This means that he is a specialist in straightening teeth and the correction of bite problems. Dr. Cory is board eligible, having completed 2 of the 3 phases to become board certified.

- Two Convenient Locations. We have two convenient locations to better serve the needs in our community. Our Sioux Falls office is located two blocks south of the intersection of I-229 and the Western Avenue exit. Our Mitchell office is located one block west of Main Avenue at the corner of West Second Avenue and Rowley Street.
- Retention. Did you know that teeth could shift back to their original positions after braces have been removed? To avoid losing all of the hard work you have put into orthodontic treatment, we provide clear retainers to help hold your teeth in position. Before removal of the braces, we will place a wire on the tongue side of your upper and lower front teeth. This wire is a safety net during the first six months post orthodontic treatment. It is NOT a replacement for the regular clear retainer and will NOT hold the teeth straight long-term. The clear retainer is removable and should be worn as instructed.
- Meticulous Sterilization. The safety of our patients is very important to us. As part of our orthodontic family, you can be assured that we do not cut corners when it comes to following the proper safety guideline when it comes to our sterilization techniques. We are up-to-date and follow all OSHA guidelines for sterilization.
- Advanced Website Features. Through our new website, our patients have 24/7 secure online access to account and appointment information using a unique login and PIN. This new feature gives our patients the option to receive e-mail appointment reminders, check their appointment times online, and review their account information.
